African Harmony
African Harmony began as a group of four college friends who got together to sing at a school event in October, 2008. The first exposure opened the door for the group to be invited to sing at other community events. It was after the first performance that the group was named African Harmony, and more group members were acquired. So far, the group has been singing a Capella songs in various languages ranging from Swahili, Bemba, Twi, Zulu, and others. The group also enjoys doing some African dances. A total of ten members have sung with African Harmony. Five are from Kenya, One from Liberia, one from Ghana, and three from Zambia. After the graduation of a couple of the members, the group has had seven active members in the past recent months. However, the group has acquired a couple of new members and is getting ready to enter a different phase in this new year. Even though the group is young, the ladies of African Harmony are determined to serve God with their voices and are looking forward to blessing more people with the singing. To God be the Glory!
